Pastor Joe has plans to retire within the next year or so. He has served as senior pastor for the past 30 years and is nearing the age where RNOC (Rosedale Network of Churches) recommends pastors retire.
After retirement, he and his wife Naomi would like to invest more time with their children and grandchildren scattered near and far. They intend to continue living in Salisbury and making Oak Dale their home church.
By announcing his desire to retire ahead of time, Pastor Joe has given Oak Dale the gift of time to search for a new lead pastor. Oak Dale has formed a Pastoral Transition Team to lead the search for a new pastor. This team, led by Wayne Tiemersma, is currently seeking applications for Senior Pastor.
